“Who” is used to find the subject while asking questions:
“Who” soru sorarken özneyi bulmak için kullanılır.
Who called Cengiz this morning?
Cengiz’i bu sabah kim aradı?
Ali called Cengiz this morning.
Ali Cengiz’i bu sabah aradı.
Note:When who is used to find the subject, no form of “do” is used.
Not: “Who” özneyi bulmak için kullanıldığında “do”’nun herhangi bir biçimi kullanılmaz, fiil hangi zamandaysa ona göre çekilmiş olarak kullanılır.
Correct: Who came?

“What” can be used to find the subject or the object while asking questions:

What kind of
“What kind of” asks for information about characteristics of an item:

We use when to ask questions about times - periods of time, days and dates, and times of the day.

We use where to ask questions about place and direction.

Which
We use which with or without a noun to ask questions about one person or thing when there is a limited choice. Which can be used to find the subject or the object.
“Which” bir isimle birlikte ya da bir isim olmaksızın, bir kişi ya da nesne ile ilgili sınırlı sayıda seçenek söz konusu olduğunda soru sormak için kullanılır. “Which” özneyi ya da nesneyi bulmak için kullanılabilir.

We use whose with or without a noun to ask about possession.

How
We use how (= in what way) to ask questions about the way something happens or is done.
“How” (nasıl) bir şeyin nasıl gerçekleştiği ya da nasıl yapıldığı ile ilgili soru sormak için kullanılır.
One use of “how” is to ask about means (ways) of transportation.

“How” is often used with adjectives and adverbs.
